Jailen Pierre
My name is Jailen Pierre, and I’m a Haitian American creative from Boston, MA. While I don’t have formal training in design, art direction, or business, I’ve built these skills through pure passion and an entrepreneurial spirit. I’m currently focused on landing in any of these fields in the fashion inudstry.
I played four years of college football as a cornerback (led my team in interceptions one year—no big deal) and learned resilience the few times someone caught a touchdown on me. The most important play is the current play. The only other play that matters is the next one.
I also ran a vintage clothing business, Beantown Treasures, from ages 17 to 24, which sparked my love for fashion and storytelling.
Cinematography was my first love—I even starred as a mohawk weaering bully named Lester in a movie my dad and uncle wrote when I was 8. Haitian, Mediterranean, and Japanese cuisine are my weaknesses.
If any of this makes you curious, or if you can chef meals from any of these cultures, let’s set up an interview.
